Iron Horse Communities realizes the need for innovative solutions to address the urgent shortage of affordable housing in metro areas throughout the Southeast US.

We develop and manage communities of high-quality, low cost manufactured homes. Our unique approach provides safe and reliable affordable housing to our residents and puts home ownership within the reach of everyday American workers and retirees.

After completing a turn-around, we continue to closely manage our communities and invest in amenities on an ongoing basis to ensure our residents experience all the benefits of living in a vibrant and stable community.

Our vision is for all residents of our communities to own the home they live in. We achieve high levels of tenant-home ownership thanks to our ability to offer in-house financing to residents. Our common-sense underwriting makes the dream of home ownership possible for more families, including those with marginal or no credit score.

      Iron Horse acquired Belleglade Mobile Home Park in April 2017. We have improved occupancy in the 80-acre, 355 lot community from below 45% to 74% as of April 2021. We expect Belleglade to be fully stabilized in 2023.

      COWETA HILLS

      Iron Horse acquired Coweta Hills in November 2013. We made significant capital improvements and began the program to bring in the attractive and upgraded homes you see in the park today. The 43 acre, 150 lot park was sold in July 2015 and is currently owned and managed by Inspire Communities.

      PINE LAKE COMMUNITY

      Iron Horse purchased Pine Lake in August 2010. At the time we purchased the community, it was at sub-50% occupancy. Iron Horse sold the 200 lot community fully-stabilized (100% occupancy) in 2015.

      WINDSOR ESTATES

      Iron Horse has owned and managed Windsor Estates since 2009. The 25 lot community is fully stabilized with tenant-owned homes.
